Seasons Greetings.

As the Scottish Weather Network has over 60 member sites I thought it would be a nice idea to start an annual award competition for the "Scottish Weather Network Site of the Year".

Basically this is how it works;
Between now and midnight on the 31st December (next year it will run from 1st December) you can email, post on the forum or PM your nominations to me and after the closing date I will put a poll on the forum with the names of the all the nominated websites for voting to take place.
Which ever site has the most votes by the end of January gets the award and a special logo to display on their website for ever more.

Rules:
1. You can't nominate your own website.
2. You can vote for your own website.
3. Nominations will be accepted by email, Forum PM to "Budgie" and in the thread on the SCWN Forum.
4. Closing date for nominations is midnight on 31st December.
5. Voting will take place between 1st January and midnight on 31st January.
6. If there is a draw, both sites will be issued with the award.
7. Nominated website must be a member of SCWN at the time of voting.
8. Competition will not run unless there are 3 or more nominated websites.

Well, I've had one email nomination so far.

I thought I would kick off the nominations on here:

I nominate Caithness Weather because the site not only supports Paula's own station in Scrabster but also another five stations from around the area, a Mini-Network if you like. 
Paula has put lot of effort into maintaining the site and helping the other stations to keep the data flowing.

We are still having problems with the Keiss Station but we will keep trying, we WILL get there with it, lost roof twice recently so power went bang, caravan is sodden through and we have a lorry tarp on the roof lol and that's just a start! this weather lark is fun!

Only two nominations so far and only 2 days to go before voting starts!
So if you would like to nominate a website then you had better get your nominations to me ASAP otherwise I'll be forced to scrap the idea.
