Kate from ScotWeather emailed me today to say that she was unable to get into the website.
It turns out that there was a server problem at around 13:00 today:

We have a problem with one of our Nameservers which is causing slow access to websites. We are working to resolve this now and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Update 13:15 This problem has now been resolved.
Just thought I'd let you all know in case you also encountered any problems and thanks to Kate for informing me.
